Dara has had a deep love, compassion, and commitment for animals for as long as she can remember. She has spent most of her adult life surrounded by dogs because she believes they enrich our lives like no other living creature can.

 

In the beginning, Dara started out simply by sharing her life with pet dogs. As her passion grew, she began to foster for many animal rescue groups. Eventually she became a dog trainer and came to realize the bond between dogs and humans can be stronger than she ever imagined.

Companion for Canines started out as a small side job, pet sitting every now and then to supplement a teacher's income. However, Dara's dedication to providing a "best life" experience for the dogs in her care has grown. She absolutely loves what she does and has the knowledge and experience to do it well!
